MORE  TWISTED PLOTS

SHERIDAN AND LUIS MAKE UP---Sheridan and hank go to the lobster shack for dinner ,where they find themselves seated behind Luis and Beth.  As Luis is looking over his menu,  the mayor comes up behind him to say hi to Sheridan, and she introduces him to Sam's brother, 

 "Oh, says the mayor, I had the pleasure of speaking with your brother Sam the other day, a fine man and a darn fine police chief. i guess you're pretty proud of your big brother''. 

 hank nods, half embarrassed, half inwardly disgusted, and the attention turns to Sheridan. 

" I hope i took care of that problem you had with that police officer ms. Crane.  I wouldn't want you to think we allow anything like sexual harassment to go on here in harmony, especially when it involves one of our own police officers and someone such as yourself,  I was telling your brother Julian  what an embarrassment it was to have to hear something like that from him after all he's done for me and this town." 

 "My brother?" Sheridan seemed bewildered.  "Why yes Ms. Crane, he said he was calling on your behalf since we've always been such good friends and all.  I 'm so sorry ..You're trying to enjoy your dinner with this nice young man and i come in here reminding you of something you'd rather forget.  Please forgive me Ms. Crane. And tell Julian, if there's any more problem just to let me know . So I'll just be on my way , and it was so nice seeing you, and you too Mr. Bennett."  

Sheridan stares down at the menu for too long,  "You didn't know anything about that phone call did you Sheridan?" hank asks, looking confident, but wondering what's going on. 

 "No, I'm afraid i didn't.  It seems my brother has some explaining to do, and she turns around to look at Luis who pulls his head out from behind his menu to look at her with that same look he had when they danced-not mad, not happy, just horny and lusty. 

 "So it wasn't you after all? "he says with a twisted grin .. their eyes fixed. "You 've  never spoken with the mayor until tonight!"  

"No I haven't, and i didn't think my brother would stoop to such tactics either. I don't understand it. I specifically told him there was no sexual harassment involved, and he agreed to drop the matter.  Now I find out this.  I'm so embarrassed." she pauses, then , "won't you let me buy you both dinner tonight.  Really I feel terrible.'  

"Well, I don't know," Luis says ,and he glances at Beth.  

"Oh come on over buddy, " hank says, "She's not so bad after all" he laughs, and Sheridan smiles sweetly as Luis and Beth join Hank and Sheridan.

"So, let's see officer Lopez-Fitzgerald, is it possible you really are the guy i saw on the beach that day?" Sheridan coos. 

 "Yeah and i guess you're still that girl who tangos better than me, huh,  do I still get the cd?" he laughs but still with that sexy look on his face, staring right into her eyes. 

 "you bet" she says smiling back and holding his gaze "I'll bring it in tomorrow -when i come to work" she says with a slight giggle.  "You  know, I was thinking , what if we were to offer a dance class at the youth center...it would be great with you and your Latino rhythm and me with my 100 hrs to work off.  What do you think"

  "I think it's a fine idea, it would be great for the kids.  A lot of them are from Latino homes and that might be just what they need to give them some pride and confidence." 

"You really are amazing with those kids,  Luis",  Beth chimes in, feeling neglected.  

"We'll talk about it tomorrow Ms. Crane",  Luis says..

"Please, "Sheridan". I think we've gone beyond the Ms. Crane point After all,  I did buy you a new car,  didn't I officer Lopez Fitzgerald," she laughs, 

 "Then it's Luis to you"  

"OK Luis" she was beaming.  There was that stare again.. the fixed look of two tigers in heat.

 Luis turned to Beth realizing she and Hank were just staring at each other like two dimwits at this point.  "I'm sorry, you guys must feel left out of this apology seminar-why don't we all order .  All this mystery solving has got my appetite roaring" Luis says as he tears himself away from the magnetic Sheridan 's hungry  gaze. 

 Hank grabs Sheridan's hand and agrees, "Great ,so what'll it be love of my life? as he tries to recover any attention he can.  

As the camera pans out, everyone is chatting -Sheridan and Luis animated and in love...Beth and Hank bored and picking at their food.  In the background we hear tango music ..to be cont.
